The Hayfield is a ministry ranch in Evening Shade, Arkansas \u2014 a place where families find rest, Christ is honored, and ministry takes root in every season.
Meet the Stewart Family
The Hayfield is led by Ben and Nili Stewart and their nine children. After nearly 20 years of serving in local church ministry \u2014 including pastoral leadership at churches in Chicago and Nashville \u2014 God called the Stewarts to step out in faith and build something new.
What began as a 25-year dream in Ben's heart became a reality during a prayer walk with Nili. She encouraged him to pursue the calling he'd carried for years: to create a place where families could gather, encounter God, and discover their purpose together.
The Stewarts sold their belongings, left their pastoral roles, and purchased a rural retreat property in the Ozark Mountains of Northeast Arkansas. That step of obedience became Brock Mountain Ministries \u2014 and has now grown into The Hayfield.
What is The Hayfield?
The Hayfield is the new home of our ministry, formerly known as Brock Mountain Ministries. While the location has changed, the heart remains the same.
Now rooted in Evening Shade, Arkansas, The Hayfield is being developed as a peaceful, excellent, and welcoming place for Kingdom-centered ministry. From family camps and worship nights to Christian executive retreats and local gatherings, every part of the property is being shaped to help people slow down, connect deeply, and respond to God.
This is more than a venue. It is a field for planting, growth, restoration, and sending.
A Family Ministry, Built by a Family
For years, the Stewart family has practiced what they now teach. Each year, Ben and Nili would take a dedicated weekend to invest in their own family \u2014 reviewing their core values, setting goals, walking through each child's personality and dreams, and placing it all before the Lord.
That personal rhythm of family investment became the blueprint for Brock Mountain Ministries' Vision Weekends \u2014 three-day, two-night family camps designed to help each family discover why God brought them together and how to walk in their unique calling.
From horseback riding and bonfires to worship under the stars and staff-led family meetings, every part of the experience is shaped to make God the center of the family and release the gifts He's placed in each member.
